Celebrating their continued commitment to protecting children, Canon U.S.A. and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ® held their 10th Annual Canon U.S.A. Customer Appreciation Red Carpet Reception on Jan. 8 at the Bellagio Resort. John Walsh ( America ’s Most Wanted) attended along with 25 other celebrities and invited guests. The reception featured fine cuisine, musical entertainment, live and silent auctions. This event, sponsored and produced by the Canon Corporation U.S.A., John Arnos, Canon Corporation U.S.A., and Baskow & Associates, thanked participants as well as benefited the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides services nationwide for families and professionals in the prevention of abducted, endangered or sexually exploited children.
Television and radio personality John Daly introduced the celebrities on stage to thunderous applause and appreciation.
Since 1997, Canon U.S.A. and NCMEC have collaborated to educate the public about the growing issue of child abduction. The Canon4Kids program, a partnership between Canon U.S.A. and NCMEC, donates product to help law enforcement quickly disseminate photos and information about missing children, produces PSAs with missing children photos, and educates parents about tips for taking and maintaining updated photos of their children.
