The showband keeps popping up around town, especially during Oktoberfest season when they have more work than you can shake a stein at.

These days they’re at the Skyline casino on Boulder Highway, just off Sunset Road in Henderson.

You can check them out from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.

CLUB FORTUNE

Event further out than Skyline is Club Fortune, north of Boulder Highway and Horizon Ridge Drive (725 Race Track Road).

On Fridays and Saturdays the small casino features live entertainment with various opening acts followed by the ‘80s metal band, Hair Nation. On Sundays, Ronnie Dee performs hits from the ‘50s.

All performances are free.

On Saturdays KOMP 92.3 broadcasts live from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
