*WHAT:* To kick off a weekend full of Liberace birthday festivities, The Cabaret Showroom at The

Liberace Museum presents Lady “J” Huston and the Fireballs, *The Blues Explosion to Jazz and Soul. *A highly energetic show, the performance will entertain and inform how the Blues Explosion evolved into jazz and classic soul music, accentuated by Lady J’s tantalizing dance arrangements and audience participation surprises. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

*DETAILS: *Acclaimed vocalist and trumpeter, Lady “J” Huston, toured as music director with Blues Hall of Fame Inductee, Albert King, performing alongside legends B.B. King, Etta James, Muddy Waters, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Koko Taylor and more. She performs on the Las Vegas strip, headlines in nightclubs, blues/jazz festivals and in multiple television, radio, and print publication appearances. Huston has also performed with Bill Pickney’s Original Drifters, jazz greats such as Dizzy Gillespie, Freddie Hubbard and Lionel Hampton. She received the “Best Blues Performer” award by the Black Music Association of Las Vegas and was featured in NBC’s Season three all-star cast finale of “America’s Got Talent,” which aired worldwide to more than 25 million viewers.

Her band, The Fireballs is comprised of outstanding musicians and vocalists who have performed with many legendary artists such as Isaac Hayes, Dionne Warwick, Wayne Newton and Dr. John.
