Microchip is free with a donation to Nevada State Friends for K-9
Who:
Paradise Pet Hospital is hosting a Microchip Clinic to help animal owners permanently protect their pets.
What:
Ninety percent of pets who are lost are never recovered and microchipping is the best way to prevent this from occurring. For a cash/check donation of any amount, a permanent microchip is placed in the animal so it can be easily identified in the event the animal is lost. Registration of the microchip only costs $18 and is highly recommended at the time of microchipping.
All donations from the event go directly to Nevada State Friends for K-9, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to assisting Nevada law enforcement in supporting a K-9 program that prevents dangerous drugs from reaching the local community.
When:
Sunday, June 13
8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Where:
Paradise Pet Hospital
1060 E. Flamingo Rd.
Just west of Maryland Parkway
Additional Information:
Paradise Pet Hospital and Nevada State Friends for K-9 are partnering to curb the flow of drugs, particularly methamphetamine into and through the state, with the usage of a police K-9 program. This public-private partnership seeks funds to purchase and support 15 specially-trained police dogs across the state for use by the Nevada Department of Public Safety in its campaign to reduce drug traffic and use in Nevada.
