SKYBAR Showcases Photo Exhibit by Neal Preston,
Famed Rock Photographer, on June 17
Exclusive never-before-seen Led Zeppelin piece will be unveiled
Las Vegas – June 9, 2010 – SKYBAR, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, unveils an exclusive photo exhibit featuring the works of legendary rock photographer, Neal Preston on Thursday, June 17. The collection provides an extensive overview of Preston’s body of work, shot over four decades. It includes a limited-edition never-before-seen Led Zeppelin enlarged contact sheet which is a collaboration between HRH magazine and Neal Preston.
“Hard Rock encourages what this collection is all about,” said Neal Preston. “These photographs represent more than just a singer at a mic; there is an emotional connection that occurs when people view them. Classic rock has exploded in the past few years, and music photography is now recognized as a true art form. It is an honor to have my work displayed at the Hard Rock.”
A public reception will be held at SKYBAR from 9 to 11 pm on June 17. Signed and numbered limited-edition exhibition prints will be available for purchase at the Hard Rock Retail Store. Preston’s exhibit, will be on display inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino beginning June 18, following the unveiling event at SKYBAR.

In conjunction with the unveiling of the photo exhibit, HRH magazine hosts its summer issue release party. This special collectors’ edition features a 12-page spread of the artist’s photography including a first-person account story by Preston himself with an introduction by director and Oscar-winning screenwriter (and long-time friend of Preston’s) , Cameron Crowe. The cover will feature an image of super group, Them Crooked Vultures, which includes rock icon John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age.
