Seeing Julio Iglesias perform was exhilarating, a time to savor and enjoy!  Singing with such emotion, he touched he touched his heart for emphasis, closed his eyes, and seemed to feel the love in each of the words.

Julio sang in French, Italian, mostly in Spanish, and a few songs in English, although I did not understand the other languages it did not matter.  Julio’s interpretations were stirring.  His choice of Willie Nelson’s “To all the Girls I’ve loved before” and Patsy Cline’s hit “Crazy” brought a touch of country to the concert.

While Julio sang, an amazing dancing duo performed some of the most sensuous tango routines I have never I seen before.  His romantic ballads were highlighted with original choreography.

Julio’s music is so beautiful its universal quality transcends to people in countries around the world.  Julio has sold 300 million copies of his 79 albums released worldwide, including original versions in various languages, compilations and live albums, which makes him the Spanish-speaking artist who has sold the most albums in history.

As the 1983 Guinness Book of Records awarded him the only Diamond Disc they ever gave.  He is the artist who has sung and recorded in the most languages in the history of music: 20 in total.  The most recent were in 2006, on the album “Romantic Classics”, in Mandarin Chinese, Philippine Tagalog, and Bahasa Indonesian.

In 42 years, Julio has received 2,600 platinum and gold records.  He has performed more than 5,000 concerts in 600 cities around the world and more than 60 million people saw him perform.

The Las Vegas Hilton glowed with Julio’s masterful performance; it was a special evening reminding us of the times Elvis, Liberace, Tony Bennett, and all of the other super stars who appeared at the Hilton.

The Las Vegas Hilton always has a great schedule of stellar talent: Queen Nation, June 30; Heart of the King Fan’s Festival, July 14-18; Bonfire;  A Tribute to Early AC/DC, July 14;
